Hello all, back home since Tuesday evening but work for massively in the way yesterday.

I ran 6 miles yesterday and 9.5 today.

Internet issues this morning and then work then run:
What: just over 40 minutes, largely off road although most of the surfaces were firm. Wet, windy and 14 degrees, so summer has arrived.
Why: about the right sort of length run

The grass will grow some more with that rain Els. Scunner is a nice word. Glad you got home OK and have already been out for a run. Not too much planned for the BH, we decided not to join the masses on the motorway. Hike tomorrow.

We don't tend to use scunner here, but we have scundered, meaning the same thing.
Struggled yesterday - after night shift stayed up for the boys' sports day. 2 of them got medals so they had a good time, the other didn't enjoy himself so much. By the afternoon I was as tired as I'd been in a long, long time and fell asleep. No races for the dads to run in thankfully.

Didn't run yesterday. Did 8.5 tonight - mostly easy but was feeling good so I pushed the last mile and was pleasantly surprised with 6:49
