I hear her heart beating, loud as thunder
Saw these stars crashingPosting these lyrics on what would have been my kids dad's 62nd birthday
What 25 mins done very tired
Why physio tonight
Last hard that was
Last rest yesterday
Think maybe I'm still tired from blood giving
Comments
Quiet!
Lyrics: sure that I should do!
Yesterday's were "There's a hole in my bucket," with the best known version being Harry Belafonte. The female, Odetta, gets no credit.
What: just over 6k, working quite hard in the second half.
Why: running to feel
Gardening later.
Edit: great run by your boy in the 800, Dustin!
Take it easy Wabo. Can you also sell your Snowdonia place if you are worried about the long runs? Take care on the bike tomorrow but I doubt you will have forgotten how to do it.
Have fun in the garden Ale.
Think I would prefer the 10k to a mile race Dustin (though have never done the latter - at least it is over faster than a 10k).
Stiles can be nasty things when wet Els.
Nice cycling at the weekend chicksta. Taper time soon?
Must catch up on the athletics again.
What: 8 miles with 2 sets of 5 x long strides. These are supposed to be 150m with 250 recoveries but without a track had to guess a bit.
Why: short and sharp speed stuff
Last hard: those were but I think I did ok
Last rest: 01.08.22
Lyrics: hmm. i.e. no.
Great day at the cricket yesterday. Went alone but was so much fun still.
Today 5km run this morning followed by cycle to nursery, where I got absolutely soaked through! Good job I hadn't showered yet after my run!
Hazel hope you're not too sore!
Ohhh that's exciting for Dustin!
Wabo you've got time to decide
Have a great day all
Good session Hazel, short but painful!
Wabo - well done, it's still quite muggy too so that doesn't help.
Emz - well done with the 5k. Rain? I wish...
As Ale noted. one of our club boys won his heat in the 800, now into Sunday's final. He started off in our Under 11 group, so just goes to show what you can do if you train hard...
What - 5 miles round the Isle of Dogs
Why - Recoverey
last rest - 25/07
last hard - yesterday: club paarlauf, 20x200m efforts 50m walk recovery between each
lyric - not so sure
Hazel: I remember those longer strides and found them difficult to do. One more hilly 18 to do at the weekend and then it's taper time.
Hugs, wabo. I guess this date will always be emotional for you.
Yes to lyrics!!
6 miles with hill intervals on the TM this morning 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 5 - 3 - 1 mins. Recoveries were half the interval time. Sweatfest!!
Aquawalking and badminton today.
Heading south tomorrow ...
Hope all goes well!
I also find long strides difficult Hazel, Chick: I always think strides are 60-80 metres working on form. Difficult to maintain that for longer!
Back to the CWG athletics!
