Hi all,
I realise that I won't get anywhere in Newcastle now. Can anyone recommend another area to stay in (then I can get the train). Or, if I drive up is there anywhere I could park and stay in the car overnight?
Any help greatly appreciated.

All might not be lost re. accomodation, have a look at this website. A couple of friends used the list and booked a twin room at the Novotel for a bit-pricey £60pppn. Good luck.
