For FLM 2004 we've had up to 12 people plodding around Richmond Park for training on a Sunday morning - and we've run with 20 different people over the last 4 months... Generally we keep together in a little 9 and a bit minute mile clump but there have been some much faster runs and runners and some much more relaxed ones too.
For this Sunday, 2nd May - meet at Roehampton Gate, Richmond Park - 9 am.
There'll probably be some one lappers (7.3 miles)
There'll maybe be some two lappers (14.6 miles)
There'll probably be some poeple stopping at Pembroke Lodge for cake!

Curly Sue - given Sheffield Half a miss, RP much more fun!
Can't believe that I've seen nobody since FLM. Can't make Friday either as I'll be on the train.
LiamO - sorry - looks like I'm not going to see you again before my big trip! It was a pleasure running with you. Well done on the well-sub-4 in the FLM. Good luck!

Cartman, it's between 7.3 and 7.5 miles depending on who you talk to. I used the very inexact science of measuring by driving around the road (7 miles) and then adding on a bit because the path is a bit further out than the road.
Will we be doing clockwise or anti-clockwise?
have a great trip. I really enjoyed our runs and congrats on your own FLM.
I made a lap of RP to be about 7.4 miles with my Nike SDM.
Just a pity that 3 laps is not quite 22 miles !!
Kath - you are very welcome:

Someone's rearranged our list in alphabetical order!
My GPS comes up as 7.25 ish following the yellow brick road (the main path).
Is it easier going anti-clock wise? I've only ever ran clockwise and find the hill after Robin Hood a killer - especially as I'm up to 2 laps!
AndyH - start the campaign for Saturday mornings - we've done a few of those in the past - e.g. on Feb 14th when Destiny begged me to join her for a couple of laps

I think its subjective.
Good luck with the classification of beaches Hollywood, perhaps you could catalogue them for us too (there has to be down side, doesn't there?) Would you like to borrow my copy of Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (second edition, 1998 revision)?
Destiny - if it's good enough for Paula, who am I to complain?
I have to admit that although that hill is horrid, and the one leading up to Pembrook isn't much better, I do like the bit between Richmond and Roehampton clockwise - nice and easy for a couple of miles.
What would Micha think?

Can't believe I'm not going to get a final run out with you either - I need a final chance to win back my money...
I been trying to keep up, but you keep moving things around.
Kinsey, what do mean what happened to my picture ?
speed work during the week, y'know. i think the biggest debates will be how many laps? and which direction? (always a favourite)
there is usually a small pit-stop between laps and really it is just nice to be in the vicinity of forumites. (sober)
