Forum weekend in the lakes 12-14th Nov

This idea has been mooted before but now here is your chance to sign up to a weekend in damp hostel waiting for the rain to stop, sorry, I mean two days of fabulous running/socialising in cosy accommodation in the heart of the lakes.

Where: Grasmere Thorney How YHA. (1/2m out of Grasmere)
When: 12-14th Nov.
Cost: £23.50/night full board/person.
Min numbers: 30
Max: 53
Family rooms: some available, 1st come 1st served.
Pubs: plenty in Grasmere.
Running/walking: Rydal/Fairfield/Hellvellyn etc, take your pick.

I've agreed the above with the hostel manager; we'd have the hostel to ourselves and therefore not be a pain to any innocent bystander.

If there is huge and violent objection to full board the alternative is to pay £953 for the weekend plus any meals regardless of numbers. I personally favour the first option but it's one or the other, so please produce majority vote by 24th of May and email me reply stating which page on the thread I can find the answer! Also I'd want volunteer to be treasurer if the latter.

What to do next:
Email me by Mon 24th May if you're interested. I'll need to have 30 definites by then to book, others can be added later up to 53.

Commitment phobes need not reply.

After 24th, I'll email replies & request for small deposit. I don't have time to be leisure rep from now until Nov so if that's what you need, please volunteer to take on the job!
