Hi, I'm in London for a few days...near Charing Cross and thought I'd try and pick up some new gear while I'm here. Anyone know any good shops near Charing Cross? Thanks
Runners Need is less than 100 yards from Camden Town tube. Turn right at the top of the escalators, cross the road and keep walking past Starbucks and the Odeon cinema.
Also a Runners Need - see the link on the RW home page - near Liverpool St station (you can get there from Embankment which is next to Charing X). Don't go at lunchtime though.
Lilywhites at Piccadilly Circus (near the forum pub) has some running stuff, probably OK for T-shirts or shorts as opposed to shoes.
I'd recommend Runners World in Covent Garden! They have the adidas foot scan and a wide range of stock (not necessarily on display) and clued up staff. It's on the ground floor of Cannons Health Club.

Can't remember street names off the top of my head - you'll be able to get them off the relevant websites, or someone else here will doubtlessly know.
