i've got some puma 3/4 length tights which are fantastic. also some nike full length ones - they're dark blue and light blue with a wee pocket at the back. both are excellent. that probably doesn't help much as i don't know the names of them, if they have ones!
No, but really.... are they???? Don't wanna get cold! Might have hairy (yet shapely) legs but if I'm out for an hour in February I don't want sweat to freeze!
Badgerdaddy - I've taken the plunge and just got my first couple of pairs of tights (from Aldi, £7.99 each). A decent pair will keep you warm and wick the sweat away from your legs. My worry was more about overheating, but htey seem fine in that department too.
Now that the weather is colder I run mainly in tights, can recommend both the concurve ones which are thicker but no pocket & Nike tech tights which are again very comfy & have a small zipped pocket at the back.
No problems with overheating & I find them more comfortable than shorts
Ron Hill strides are pretty good and not quite so revealing as actual "tights" for the blokes. Get a bit soggy in heavy rain unless you go for the DXB version but they seem to do a good job otherwise of wicking and preventing wind chill whilst not over-heating.
