yeah - it is a bit similar at the moment - but I've got big plans for making loads more cool stuff. If there's anything you'd like to see on there (apart from downloadable Jack Daniels), let me know, and I'll see if I can do it.
fetch, a techie question, I've never come accross php files before, Google says they're some sort of Perl offshoot for managing html, why did you choose that over jsp, asp or .net language.
What I'd like to see on my own area is a motivational thing, a reason to improve my times other than just sheer satisfaction value, of course.
How's about this, Fetch: a picture of a drop dead gorgeous lapdancer, and for every say, minute, I knock off my PB over a given distance, she takes one more layer off?
You could do the same for the girlies with perhaps, a hunky fireman or whoever it might be.
That'd be sure to force me out the door every single day of the week to train!
ta marshallini - let me know if you have any more requests (that don't involve naked chicks or firemen, downloadable Jack Daniels, or whether I look like some bloke off Coronation Street) :-)
I *think* I may have seen you yesterday .... where you stood outside the wetnecks tent about 1030 with a rather silly red beard on?? wasnt sure and have introduced myself as Meldy to many strange men in the past who did not know who the hell I was on about!! recognised the T shirt but was not sure if there were more than one of you :-)
go into your race portfolio, and click "Edit your comments" next to the race of your choice. You can add your time there. When the race is past, you go through the same procedure to enter your actual time.
The PB box is a new feature, so I hope it's working ok. Basically, it searches through all the past races in your portfolio, and finds your best times - so fill in your portfolio. Let me know if you have any problems. Thanks for trying it out :-)
Just been putting in my training times. Excellent stuff! One minor suggestion. When you go to 'Add Another', it ignores that my pref is for miles and defaults 'km' in the drop down box. Be nice if this used your pref too.
I've figure out what was happening with the PB box. Added my races (both of em!) and I see my half mara PB, but don't see the other one in the PB box. This is cause it was the Epsom Oddballs Perch 6.25. I was regarding this as a 10K, but it actually measures 10.05K (i.e. 6.25 miles) and therefore isn't included as a 10K PB. Is there any way I could add this into my PBs? (It was just about the fastest I ever ran!)
All in all though, big thumbs up for your site. I will be using it often!
All the races in the system are classified as either 5k, 5M, 10K, Half, Marathon, or unclassified. Your race probably comes in as unclassified. I guess I can put it in as a 10k - it'd be different if it was 9.95 :-)

The formula is the one that RW uses. Not sure if it's copyright - can anyone tell me? If it is, I might have to make my own :-)

Does that help?
great web site just loaded up all my race detail past and future.
For anyone who's uploaded photos, you now have the facility to delete them (although you certainly don't have to!!)
How do things get into the PB box?
