Last year a few people suffered from hayfever and were talking about using honey to help so here's a reminder!
(Details from my father-in-law who's a beekeeper.)
You should start taking the honey about 3 months before your hayfever season starts. Take a teaspoonful every day and chew it.
The honey should be local, from within a 10 mile radius of where you run. The best is comb honey or if you go direct to the beekeeper you may be able to get "cappings" which are the bits taken off the comb to extract the honey.
Good luck!

I actually managed to find some last week sold in the local pharmacy and actually produced about 1 mile from where I live. Looks like the beekeeper is cashing in on the hayfever/honey thing by selling to the local pharmacy!!
Not that I need to buy any honey......
Apparently a company is developing pollen tablets as an anti-hayfever measure. Not sure how effective they'd be, as father-in-law says it has to be local stuff.
