coke leeches the calcium from your bones.
cola is the only soft drink to contain phosphoric acid which reacts with the calcium in the bones and removes it, forming calcium phosphate.
this leaves the bones with a hollow and empty hexagonal structure where the calcium ions have been removed, therefore making them weaker, more brittle, and more likely to break.
this leaves you more susceptible to stress fractures and other bone disorders, including regular breaks.
it also increases your risk of osteoperosis in later life, especially in women.
even worse for the ladies, as all the calcium which will ever be laid down in their bones, is laid down in the first 30-35 years of their life, so after that, any calcium lost or removed, cannot be replaced.
i was horrified.
makes me thankful i haven't drank coke since age 5.
i though it my duty to tell you all, as my partner has just suffered two stress fractures.
doesn't this shock you!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i got more if you want it......
I used to run a night club and every bottle of alcopops contains approximately 18 teaspoons of sugar. When you think of the size of bottle that is a huge amount in relation to the quantity of liquid.
Is it true that we can't we replace calcium after a certain age?
