My friend started running 6 weeks ago training for the RFL and for the first 3 weeks all was fine. Lately she has been having terrible pains across the front of her feet from the ankle to just above her toes. Last night she said she was in agony.
Does anyone have any idea of what this could be? She has been running 3 miles and some of this is off road through woods.

and while it's helping it's not solving the problem, it always comes back. Not to much of a problem when actually running, tends to kick in when I stop.
Can anyone help??
