Does anyone know where I can get a decent sports bra/crop top in 'wicky' material but is not super-supportive-industrial strength?? Just a bit of support will do!
Nike do some nice wicky crop tops . . .and they're definately not scaffolding. Or those Sportjock tops? They're really good, and they come in colours--not the usual black or white nonsense (tho beware, the pink one is so pale it looks like it's been through a red sock wash).
Not only do they have a helpful online catalogue (and some sort of java applet that helps identify the best bra for the purpose) but they're v. friendly and efficient too. I bought two bras over the phone late on Tuesday afternoon, and they both arrived on Wednesday morning. One felt too small so I rang them up to let them know and said I'd post it back. I expected them to send a replacement when it arrived with them, but the bloke I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and told me to hang onto it. He said he'd send out the replacement and I could then try them together.
I was very impressed
(Incicentally, I went for the Sportjock in "Supplex" - nice, soft, wicking and pretty in cornflower blue :-)
Mands, ignore these amatures. I can help but I need to know what size you are. No good just giving me the letters I'm afraid as sports bras are highly specialised equipment. You need to stand up straight and cup you breasts with both hands, give a slight squeeze and then tell me how they feel. The more detail you are able to give me the more I will be able to help. If you are not sure what to look for then let me know and I may be able to visit personally (no charge). It may take me a while though as I live in the Midlands and only have a Raleigh Chopper (and the chain keeps coming off).
alls well I hope... spent the afternoon in 'lingerie' depts... Have got a nice little blue Nike number...will test run it tomorrow..thanks for the advice..well some of it!!!!
nike top did the trick.. but as for the Nike 'Caprice'(??) pants/joggers type thing that I bought to match..(Retail therapy!!), well just don't do it, I say... Yep they may look sexy (dream on!!) but I kept thinking they were going to fall down...hmm

Only too happy to help, David.
Who let you out the cell? I was here first!
David, I'm sorry if I seem a prude or whatever, but maybe you were slightly over the line there?
(believe me, I know whereof I speak)
(Takes a sight more than that I can tell you)
Chimp, don't worry, scowly moderator is on hand to sort him if he gets over-excited again!
Of course, in cold weather when i don't sweat quite so much . . .
