I'm off to NYC on 3rd Nov, hubby is doing marathon, and it is my 2nd wedding anniversary and I want to take him somewhere very, very special on Friday 4th Nov.
So can you recommend a good restaurant? Have you been to a good one, read about a good one?
Please help!

I've heard they've got Burger King too... I don't know if that's just hearsay (Not the group) though...
Thanks Moomoo I owe you one chickadee x
You know me!
There is a nice and very exclusive (or at least there was last year) one on the ground floor west side of the Rockefeller centre. Can't remember the name. The food is affordable but you will have to scour the wine list for an affordable bottle of wine. It's over 2 floors and has a mezzanine level. Can't recall the name.
Superb bread and I had the steak.
Very expensive but without a doubt the best food I have tasted anywhere in the world. The chef Charlie Palmer is a bit of celebrity in America and his food is to die for.
Went there for a meal on New years Eve around 2 years ago.
Can't wait to get there now!
Cheers Diane, Samson and everybody else but of course silly Jon/Don who at best can only come up with Maccy D's! ;-)
Not posh but fun!
- would definitely recommend the River Cafe in Brooklyn. Great food and beautiful views across the river to Manhattan.
