Is it just me or does anybody else find it a little easier to run in the evenings rather than the mornings (anything up to lunch time actually).
Any ideas as to why this may be?
I have always assumed that I ran better after being fuelled with calories all day.

Happy Shambler!
Now mornings are taken up with getting the little darlings to school so I have to fit a run in early evening. Which isn't so bad but the temptation to lose the tight window so it has to be done tomorrow is often difficult to resist. In the morning I'm up, in my kit and out the door before I can think of a good reason not to !
But the trots semm to be much worse, and I have to get up before 6 to fit everything in
Shambling In The Dark!
Cant wait for the clocks to go back, cant believe it
Only when Im desperate
The odd time I have to run in the afternoon/evening I just cant get into it, it seems strange, dont get me wrong I will run anywhere anytime but I still prefer early mornings, especially when there is a nice frost, hello Doctor ! ! ! ! ! !
oh and little bunny wunnies, arghhhhhhh...oh and the smell of pig/horse/cow poo,
as you can tell I run a lot in the countryside.......
Dodging the dog poos during the dark winter mornings can be a bit troublsome but the peace and quietness, lack of abusive kids and light trafic make up for that.
No, I don't know why I did it either.
Now I prefer evenings; it was nice to run in sunshine at 9pm during summer, and now autumn's in full swing it's ever-so-slightly warmer in the evening. It's also because I've heard the same advice as others above regarding evening rather than morning being a better time to run.
Anyone else have any comments about how they feel after running at a particular time of day, or what time of day is your favorite to run at (rather than what time is most convenient)?
Only thing is when it gets to late afternoon/evening you dont feel as though you have run as it was so long ago and get the urge to run again.......
Its dead before 10am
Must be all the partying we do
