I'm told to drink loads of water in the days and even the morning prior to a marathon but the problem is once I start running I always need a toilet stop. I've tryed not drinking 2 hours before the race. Any other suggestions?
strange.If you stop drinking water 2 hours before a race,you should be ok with a pee before the start.Try to control it and it may go away for a while.Eventually,u will have to stop anyway for a marathon lenght.
It took me quite a while to realise that if you are running, it is impossible to pee. Try it out on a lonely road or after dark and I think you will agree tha you can't pee while running. At least I can't.
