Hmmmmmm Having second thoughts now - need a nice flat course to give me every possible chance of making it to the finish (not too concerned about time just yet - it'll be a PB anyway!)
Last year this was run on Jubilee weekend and was scorching hot so even with my habit of finding events in the rain it should be a good run.
M don't let them put you off it may not be flat but it is not really hilly. It is a good sociable run good atmosphere and I would recomend it plus the tee shirt is one of the best. I still wear mine from last year.
FS good luck for Oakley have finally entered Ashby so should be well tierd by the time we next train (just getting the excuse in early)
Hi FBB. Don't know if I'm going to be ready for this. Am definitley planning a half in June but may benefit from a few extra weeks and doing Borehamwood.
I've been pondering whether I should enter this as my first half. I'm not sure if it's abit too ambitious as I'm not up to that sort of mileage yet but it would give me something to aim for.
KS There is never a good run to do as your first half. It always seems ambitious and when you get there everyone looks like they are fitter than you. But enter, run your own race. Let the forum know your number we can look out for you and encourage you on the day. You will be suprised how many of the fit looking folk come in behind you. Even I beat some of them sometimes.
I've done the Woodhall Spa 1/2M a couple of times. I've always thought it was flat, and done a good time there - perhaps it depends on where you come from. compared to here it is very flat. I'm thinking of doing it this year, but may opt for the Brandon 1/2M the weekend before.
New to the area and race organisors usually use the term Pleasantly undulating for hilly !! Did you all enjoy the Lincoln 10 k ? Have just entered Woodhall Half on line so am going to find out the truth !! Remember us older ones are Masters now not Veterans any more!! See you there on the day.

Forgot to ask before. Why the tiger?

Good luck at Ashby
Hi M. Just sent you one too.
KS you should come along. You've got ages till June. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
I did 6.6 miles tonight and it certainly wasn't hard so I think I can up my mileage abit now.
Plenty of time to improve my speed before then!

Actually, it isn't too bad, and a pb course I would have thought, but it really isn't flat!
