Boredrunner, I just came back from the race and it is not undulating. It is HILLY. There is a big mountain just after km 1, and there are two loops so it comes again after km 6.
But is was nice, I got a pb and I am now officially a sub 50 runner.
No it wasn't to bad. It was just a shock to see that hill. It was hiding behind a curve, which was already uphill. A friend told me not to overdo it on the first kilometer because of the hill and when I saw the early slope I thought it doesn't look to bad. But then little MountVonToux showed itself. The second time I walked a bit of it. I raced on Saturday so I couldn't reach my target time today anyway, and I just made sure to get under the 50 minutes. On 25th of May there is another 10 k in Wimbledon which is supposed to be flat. I hope I can go for sub 46 there.
Well I run it today, my first ever run and with no preparation! Yes, there was a hill but I didn't think it was bad. I ran it in 65:56min and really enjoyed it so I will run again, this time with some training

Does anyone know if it is hilly?
(That said, I'm seriously considering doing it anyway...!!)
I just popped in as I thought now that must be a run in Wales with a name like that! Obviously very wrong!!
Happy running!

'undulating' seems to be a codeword for 'expect hill' anyway in most people's experience (see Yeovilton 10k for example...)
Still, perfect conditions for it today and if you got a pb can't have been too bad!

here are some nice pictures taken at the top of the hill. MAybe you can find yourself in it.
