Why no Walshes reviewed here? Made in Bolton (and therefore presumably without child labour) and fab for running up mountains or along muddy tracks. OK, so the style probably hasn't altered for a couple of decades, but that's adhering to the "if it ain't broke..." school of philosophy.

There's no sinister motive. Walsh make brilliant shoes. There are none in the test simply because they don't have any models that claim to be water-proof!

Careful...I don't think all Walsh running shoes are made in Bolton, UK. The only ones claimed to be made in England(according to their website 2012) are the PB Elite Trainer, PB Elite Racer, PB Ultra and PB Ultra Extreme plus PB Junior Trainer....in fact all the PBs which have the original pyramid studs(Produced in Bolton?). The others may be made in China or Vietnam according to what I have read. Either that or the website has not been updated in a long time!
