General running
Hi all, to some i'm sure this is a silly question but what is the difference between average speed and average pace, i thought they would be the same but the different readings on my garmin say otherwise.

Speed is usually how many miles/km you will travel in an hour.
Pace is how many minutes it takes you to run a km/mile.
It's just a different way of expressing how fast you are going.
Speed 10km/hr - Pace 6mins/km
