Hullo! Will be attempting this race on Sunday, first one of 2007 for me so looking forward to it. Am quite near to the venue but have never entered before. Anyone got any info on the course?

    Wes, I've run it twice before. I assume the course is still the same as when I last ran it (2 years ago) as the course has changed over the years.

    The course is about a mile or so on road, and the rest is all off road. Well marshalled & well signposted throughout. It's not particularly hilly - although there are a few sharp inclines, but nothing too arduous (honest !).

    It's worth doing for the home made cake stall (in the hall) - if you're a cake lover (like me) you WON'T be disappointed.

    I think also that the course justifies the billing "Scenic".

    Have a great race - and don't forget to save some cakes for me !

    Great event. Brilliant atmosphere. Really friendly and a great run. Cakes are also very good. Definately do it again next year. Couldn't fault the race only my dire performance!
