How about a pleasant jaunt along the Way of the Pilgrims, with its scenic views across a verdant valley on the side of the midday sun? The day before, you could visit the Archbishop's Palace in Meddestane (of Domesday Book fame), stroll around the beautifully laid out grounds of the Park de Mote, or even enjoy a pleasant perambulation through the maze located in the grounds of the former home of Catherine of Aragon.

Come on, mate, you know you want to do the Maidstone Half on 21st October!
