  a friend of mine did hers playing squash and it took her a long time to heal - had lots of physio on it

  A work friend of mine did this in july playing in a staff rounders match, went to run on the first ball and snap, she isn't due to return to work until Dec!! Poor blood supply to tendons means they heal VERY slowly. once the plaster is off - physio and be prepared for a long haul, it will get better, need buckets of patience for this one.

  Tell her to stay positive, but it is going to be a long slow healing process.
