You are right Andy a fantastic morning spent in lovely company. Thanks for a great morning people, I really enjoyed it. Got home, enjoyed the tuna sandwich and then had a 45 minute snooze, you can imagine how popular I am in the Stokes household!. I feel better now and am ready for a few drinkies this evening!!!!!!
Hi guys had a great time this morning thanks. It was great company and even those who took the short route, you know who you are, did brilliantly (P.S. thats not you Bill ) A special mention to Bill 17 miles ! thats great running. And Cliff you are a legend doing 27 miles with a hangover.
Took the dog for a walk and had a lovely bag of chips for Lunch and have spent the afternoon feet up getting totally stressed watching the numpties who are England Rugby team throwing away the match. Oh well of out for a chineese tonight just hope I can stay awake.
Hope you meal goes well Bo-bo see you all again soon. Shall we run it the other way round next time ?
I claim full responsibility for England's dreadful result. I sat down to watch it with the score 19-6 in England's favour and from that moment your guyswent to sleep and Wales got 20 points with no reply. Never mind, you can get your own back tomorrow when Scotland gets royally thrashed by the French.
Morning All, How are the leggies feeling today? Mine are a little on the sore side but I may well venture out for a short jog this evening. I hope that the rest of the weekend treated you well
Morning all. I am fine, but there again I did not do as much as the rest of you. I have just been clearing down old emails from my Yahoo sent box and found some correspondence with Mark about doing the Viking trail dating back to March of last year, but I chickened out that time as I had other domestic duties that day.
morning all my legs are feeling absolutely fine but I will no doubt find out how fine they are at the club run tonight
Bill Watching your boys get thumped did go some way to lesson the dissapointment of Saturday So it looks like the wooden spood decider is next Saturdays match at Murryfield ?
We were pitiful Mark. I have never seen such an inept display. My only saving grace is that I am pretty certain we cannot play that badly twice. The stupid thing is that the French made nearly as many mistakes and were there for the beating if we had played the same way as we did in the World Cup. I don't think I am going to be able to watch it next Saturday as I am going to be tied up with this flaming Conference.
Just to be pedantic for a minute Bo Bo, I thought the Ireland team that plays in the 6 nations was an all Ireland team picked from clubs in the north and south, or isthat no longer the case?
NIce quickish 5m with the club last night. Its not meant to be quick but with running back and forth to check everyone is OK means I end up running way to fast ! good turnout must have been 20 + people out which is great to see if a little hectic to organise. 2 days rest now untill speed session on Thursday. Hmmmm what torture, oops I mean session, shall I arrange for them ?
CB, re quicksands, I would say the 15 is more like 18 in terms of effort. And, yes, I am tempted. If I ran in thanet colours could I transfer club points to Bobo . Its a great run. I would wear off road shoes this time though. Last year I was not getting the support I needed from my normal shoes. Do you have a date for it? Is it still October?

What a fantastic day for running. Dusted off the sunglasses, set off and didn't want the run to end ! Lovely running down by the beach in Broadstairs.

LOL! How about some of the quicksands route. Good for strengthening quads, hams, calfs, ITB and achillies. Perfect training
Yes, it was Ireland not Eire. Good spot CB.
Cinders It will be great to see you back running soon. I will be gentle with you honest
