Anyone else been eavesdropping on the pleasantly plump, gently rounded, curvaceous and virtuous etc ladies' club here?
Thread titles like that are getting me all steamed up. I mean, PHWOOAARR!
Striving all the time, of course, to be politically correct, I can't help wondering if we gentlemen can suggest more names for them? And do we prefer something like "the svelte and skinny club" or the "bounce for Britain club"?

Thanks for thinking of us but the Fat Club is not just for ladies. We have several men who pop along and chat about their weight problems too. When we first started the thread we did indeed consider many names for the club but the one that has endured has been Fat Club - it just gets a few variations form time to time!
In the meantime, just remember: there should be plenty of a good person (old Russian proverb).
from personal experience I usually find it better to avoid all comments of all types on this subject. Finding the right balance of support, encouragement exhortation, challenge whilst hoovering up every available calorie is difficult. therefore i will not comment on proposals to change the name
do svydanya tovarich
Jono is fat - Dawn French is voluptuous
Widders is fat- Alison Moyet is beautifully curvaceous (saw her last night she was brill - what a voice)
Cyril Smith is fat- Betty Turpin is cuddly
Johnny Vegas is fat- JoBrand is ample
......do you get the drift
personally I am chunky as in monkey and the answer to does my bum look big in my new Nikes (when I get them) is obviously -of corset doesn't!
PS does anyone know what sizes R.Hill bases his trackster sizes on - my large waterproof DXB ones are very skimpy and low slung - hipster tracksters!
As Bune points out, it's all to do with spin. Not a bit of me wobbles, but I will concede that bits do ripple in a manly fashion.
Glenn, the saying is хорошего человека должно быть много!
(dunno if that'll come out correctly)
They have a different perception of body weight to height over there.
women wobble - blokes ripple ;]
Jo Brand is FAT FAT FAT.
I'd not normally be so cutting but a career which consists of "I like cakes" and "Men are sh*ts" tends to make me a bit cynical

actually they are all fat but some of them are nicer people/carry it better / have more sex appeal/self confidence etc
I was just being mischevious with the boys who started this thread!
