I think you can enter on the day.. To make it worse was out today training fell and broke a tooth. dentist removed it but told me no running for 4 days!!!! Room at the back for one more I hope.
Tonight was good...the temperature was suprisingly warm. We ran into Bute Park and did 10 reps of 30 secs fast with 1min 30 recovers. Then plodded back. I persuaded my friend to come along tonight and she enjoyed it so hopefull she'll be back next week!
Oooh 10am start - dead on Archers Omnibus and Porridge in bed time. Have no fear though I shall sacrifice my very sad addiction to the Archers this Sunday
Think my next race is gonna be the Ty Hafan 5K. Which reminds me...aren't we all supposed to be having a plod round the course sometime...before the actual race?
Awww thanks Im sure there will pro bably be fit young men in shorts to ogle, too, to make it worth your while!
I nearly persuaded a girl at uni to come, I think she is a bit reluctant as she is about to go on placement and then be working in Llanelli - might talk her into the 10k down there on 22nd though (damn, I just thought about entering it again didnt I!)
Ooo yes, that would be nice.....although I is slowwww - you can all do 2 laps to my one
We II woke up this morning with one eye glued shut and my GP also gave me antibiotics the size of small nuclear missiles for my chest so I doubt I'll be running before the weekend....
Could be tempted still to do PP though even if I just drag my way through?
Heee heee excuse the pun but you're "barking" up the wrong tree with regard to me ogling young men in shorts - maybe if there is a Kelly Holmes lookalike that'd suit me more
You should definately enter Llanelli...nice scenery, i'm doing it and so is Sarah from club.
As for the Ty Hafan route....we'll all just plod at the same pace...will be just for fun!

Went out and did aout 4.5 today - woohoo
No I didn't get the cold from Mudchute - though I wish I could have been there! Good for you doing 4.5 today
Coming to club tomorrow?
Maybe
I might be very very stiff...we will see
(it was 50% uphill I think - I got lost - half a mile from home.....AtoZ, anyone lol)
LOL well if you decide to come we're meeting at Bute Park now
Going back to this thread, still not sure whether to do this or not. Either way i'll be there to support you and Nam! x
You might get very cold and bored waiting for me, mind! (I havent told you how long it took for the 4.something miles.....;) )
Entered via this site a few weeks ago and not had my race info. yet.
Anyone else in the same boat?

hmmmm
*threatens to get the wet fish back out*
much as I would like the company, I dont want you to kill yourself!
Give it 48 hours
Oh no sorry to hear that Nam Hope you'll be ok for Sunday but if you're not it's best not to push it.
Wish I knew the route of it then I could figure out where I can position myself at different places (if possible)
Maybe I can be Nam's sub if she cant do it! Though i dont think my trainers are suitable for it really...
I'll let you have my number if I don't get well enough on time.
Barking assures me these antibiotics are the mutts nuts though...
I dont have trainers
Well, only normal trainers, not offroad type trainers
Maybe I should bring a bin bag and can just slide down the hills - if its wet and I will be doing the hills on my backside anyway
It'll soon get better once those antibiotics kick in. You'll be back at club doing speedwork before you know it
