Greetings everybody
Just giving the East Cheshire Harriers Black Knight Charge a plug. It is staged through Daisy Nook Country Park at Ashton Under Lyne. It is 6 mile offroad and consists mainly of track and trail, the start and finish is along the canal banking. It is a very demanding course with several short climbs, two years ago the weather was blazing hot, last year the course was like a mud bath and the river crossing had to be closed for safety reasons.
Registration is at ECH headquarters on Richmond st and the start is about a 15min jog so get there early, if you check out the club web site there is an entry form or enter on the night. www.eastcheshireharriers.co.uk .
Most important thing is the bar will be open after the race and there will be potatoe pie served what more do you need.
see you on the start line
Paul

Greeting Everbody
I have just been around the course, it is wet after all the rain we have had so off road shoes or fell would be advised.
see you on the start line

I agree and what a good turnout over a hundred runners and the weather was great. I forgot how tough some of the climbs in the woods can be. Anyway thanks to all that made it a great night particularly the marshalls and backroom staff. see you next year.
