I don't believe it - I swear the organisers pack my rejection mag + gift the moment they get mty ballot application!!!!!

Actually Bear, wasn't there something about an additional 1000 places going out to bequeathers a bit later in the year or something?
Has no one had the money debited yet? I thought that was the sure fire way in previous years to tell if you'd got a place or not. The cheque was cashed around the 30th Oct, then the mags came out the week later.
If you're poorly, LB, you should be in bed all day, so yes, it IS bedtime. Go and get a cup of tea and get back under the duvet and stop worrying about oversized fleeces. Love from your mum. xx
Last year the 1000 extra places were drawn after the main ballot and that's how I got in (straight after I assume rather than a while later). If you've been rejected, short of a charity place, you are still rejected as there are no further draws.

We didn't send a cheque. I think we used Visa. And we bequeathed. If you do that, they take it straight away don't they?

Just got my fleece.
It's a small, but I could wear it as a dress and put both my kids in it at the same time...
But on the plus side, if I don't have to train for a marathon next spring, I can actually have a life! Yay!
Ah well, 2 more fleeces and they have to accept my ballot application!!!!!
I was glad to see my rejection (I want to try a few different marathons before I do London again so am hoping I get in at the 6th attempt) but was disappointed to see they sent me a Medium jacket which shouldn't get near me.
It fits me perfectly though so the jackets must be seriously oversized.
Both my hubby and I bequeathed and he got his fleece today. I'm hoping that means I'm in. We'll see tomorrow.

I am more annoyed about the completely SH*T fleece than the fact I am not in. I've got a medium and it's RIDICULOUS.
Honestly, FLM - I hope you're reading this. Next time, please don't bother sending us your "gifts". I can't wear it so it's pointless. Surely you know that runners don't generally look like Rick Waller?

Mr MT can wear my fleece. I'm 5'7 and size 8 "up top" and he's 5'11 and normally takes a large in tops - but it should fit him. And that was the small fleece!
