Well ... I keep discovering software that i have not got.
Currently looking forward to the Hastingsfest. I have just realized there is a London Social on Friday 12 when i was going to go to see hansel and Grethel at the ROH. So I have bought a ticket for Tuesday 16 instead. Result? I have a ticket in the gods going spare for fr night if anyone wants it. It's only 2 1/4 hours long so it'll be over by about 9.45 pm.
If anyone wants it it's up for grabs.
The amphitheatre is otherwise sold out on the Friday night so I'll take it back to ROH for a refund on Thursday if nobody responds ...
It is not necessarily a children's thing btw.
Went for a run with Mrs S's group last night. Luckily they kept stopping.
morning ladies - having a quiet day at home today after dropping H back to school yesterday; suppose I should return the house to some state of normality and restock the fridge just enjoyed a muddy hour in the local woods.
lovely to see you CR, and I like your mantra of capturing the day before it is past.
This time last week i was feezing in a field waiting to start my run. Glad to be going for a gentle walk with a friend this sunday.
Must be odd coming back to a quiet house bobo, still good to hear that your are using your time productivey in the forest and not wasting it on housework!
LL - french homework? you seem to spend a lot of time on music practice and homework, have you secretly gone back to school too?
Snaps you seem to be back and forth a lot, will try and get into your blog to catch up.
Lots going on here, but little that can be put on a public forum!
Well I started, and despite all the advice I had not taken enough clothes for the wait at the start, so froze while waiting for the start. I just jogged slowly and actually felt fine for the first few km, which really surprised me. In fact I felt quite good until I got cramp at 10 miles, so from then on I had to walk, stop stretch then jog, walk stop stretch then jog.
At 18 miles the pain was so bad I pulled into a medical station and they massaged my legs and helped me to stretch, whilst there I chatted to to tohers who had the same problem but were determined to keep going, so I thought well I might as well see how far I get.
So in a more upbeat mood I jogged and walked for the next 6 miles, then it was sheer determination that got me through the last two to the finish.
I cannot say I actually enjoyed it, but am glad I finished.
I must be the only runner in history that manages to get progressively worse times for their races. Never mind, soon there will be a new me emerging, one that trains and does well!

I hope you get the green light, Tommygun2.

I'm stuck in the office.

2 1/4 hours? I cannot sit still that long
Just ran round Richmond Park. It's a lovely day.
What were they stopping for, Snappy?
Hello you Wonderful Copenhageners.
Haven't been on the forum for ages, but thought I'd just pop in to say hello.
What's going on in the daily life of our Copenhagen runners?
Thoroughly enjoyed TV2 concert with lots of fellow expats in London on Saturday.
What a brilliant atmosphere!
Thankfully,TV2 made it unlike lots of Danish fans, who were stranded in CPH, as Sterling Airways went bust...
....and they came to LDN "because we needed it".
How true!
Glad to say I have started running again and really enjoy it.

I can't see myself doing an ultra, paul a. I'd have to take my overnight bag with me.
