Hey there,
I've just joined Runner's World as I want to kick start my running again. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a running club in Chiswick? Somewhere where you can go at your own pace and build up from there. It'd be great to start running with others to help keep me motivated!
Thanks,
CJ

The only running club in chiswick that we know about is w4 west harriers -
http://www.west4harriers.org/index_files/Page626.htm - it is not for beginners.
Barnes http://www.barnesrunners.co.uk/ - you should be able to cover at least 3 miles before joining
Urban vitality has just started a free running club. Sundays at 9:30 outside Waitrose. Tomorrow,11th of January is their first session. Interested people meet and run together according to their abilities, I assume.
http://www.runningpartners.org.uk/ - check their listed runners in W4 for a running partners.
if you are unable to find a running club, dont give up..start running at your own pace and build strength gradually. You could follow a run/walk program found on this site for example.
Nice and small parks around chiswick and you have the river with its nice running routes between the bridges.
Cheers
I've ran 5k and 10k's in the past and have been running say 30 min runs weekly but defintely still consider myself as somewhat of a beginner.
I'll check the links out. Just need a bit of help with motivation and think joining a club should do the trick. Thanks again
