Early learning centre sell some chunky chalks. They'd probably be your best bet for writing and not getting arrested if caught, as they'll wash/wear off.

Careful with anything that says semi permanent, the semi permanent spray paint I bought takes a couple of years to weather off. It will not come up even with a scribbing brush and detergent
