  Lostcat, that's excellent, a real chunck under 1h indeed. My other half was 20 secs over the hour and not so happy, to be honest I was proud that she'd done it in those conditions. She reckons she spent 20 secs mucking around with her iPod which may have cost her! I remember the puddle, people tried to avoid puddles at the start and then just gave up! I was soaked and cold at the end and had to wait for 'er indoors to finish. I got a pb also, around 39:30 I think, forgot to stop the watch. Have you heard of the Rothley 10K next tuesday?
