Doens anybody know of an on-line cycle route planner, or more simply just routes, that show a step by step guide, ie after 1 mile take left on to xxxx Road Bxxx, after 400ft take first right on to xxxx street Bxxx etc
Looking for a London to Brighthon route and don't want to follow the A23 but do want to take in Ditchling Beacon. All the routes I can find via a search just give maps or co-ordinates and Google Maps gives you car or walk options.

there are a number of online bike route sites where people post routes - try these but I don't know if they have what you're after

http://www.cycle-route.com/

I use....
www.mapmyride.com or...
www.mapmyrun.com
...both for bike routes, can download them direct to my Garmin 705
www.mapmybike.com i think?
www.bikeroutetoaster.com
Bikeroutetoaster is the one, the Cue Sheet is exactly what I was after. Thanks JD & Gertie!
Did think of simply getting an Atlas or map but A) wasn't sure the roads I would pick would be best suited for cycling Heavier to carry than a couple of sheets of paper C) I'm tight
