Liverpool Half Marathon

A fellow club memeber won the ladies over 45 prize in the Liverpool half mararhon. She did not recieve any of the 'generous prize money on offer' as reported in the November issue on this event. In fact she recieved a medal. But not on the day of the race as the organisers considered there was only time to give out the mens prizes & women up to the age of 35. When you take into account the expense of the race entrance fee & that this is such a big race event (2000 runners)what a disgraceful way to treat competitors.
