I'm thinking (as I've intended all along, really) of doing the 5-miler, and possibly the whole series, but I know there'll be pressure to join the club outing to Mansfield.
The next B'ham XC league meeting's the day before race #2.
Thanks guys, I did see them but I really want to keep my mileage up over the Winter in prep for a Half Marathon I am doing in Ireland in December. Not much to choose from - unless I fancy a 100 mile + trip!
embracing hills is good for your all round running not just hilly courses. BTW, I thought you looked really strong last night. In case your not aware, I was your partner
Not sure if the Rugby '10' has been advertised on here - November 8th
I think the course has been changed this year so its 15K rather than 10 miles. I'm quite disappointed as I wanted to see if I could get my 10 mile pb down.

P.S. It's the last race in the 2009 Warwickshire Road Race League
"I [too] did that last year and enjoyed it. There's even this review 'wot I rote' [somewhere in there]."
Think it'll be my next race now as I'm getting no response from the organisers of the Boxing Day XC I wanted to do. Won't be running again in time for Rugby
7 for 7.30 start you can print off the route from the web site we gather and then the chair or deputy tells us who has done what races over the weekend etc and any notices - bit like school assembly
and then we get into groups and then we run find me or LJB1 and we will put you with someone who runs at your pace
Roundy - most of them are OK, but there are one or two nutters...
As for the other thing, not too bothered about the shopping, but might be tempted to the German Beer Market, erm, Xmas Market (you know what I mean!). That's if my running buddy doesn't mind missing a Wednesday run (are you lurking Joe?)
I seem to have stopped getting alerts again - happens every now and then for some reason.

Hi Spence, recovered from last night's session? The air seemed to be turning a bit blue in your vicinity!
I did that last year and enjoyed it. There's even this review 'wot I rote'.
There is a bit of a hill, but it's all good.
