First injury I've asked about on here, bear with me
I was running last week when I suddenly felt this pain just above the left Achilles Tendon. When I stopped, it felt like the pain was across the entire tendon and it was sorest at the top and bottom of the tendon.
When I try to flex it, the tendon itself feels like it's "creaking" as such, and although I do have full movement, it does hurt to fully extend it.
I'm currently taking brufen, and am following the RICE idea, but I was wondering how long it would take for it to heal, as I have a 10k race in a month and really want to break sub-41. I'm planning on taking the rest of this week off (after having done only 50% mileage last week).
