My deepest apologies to Seren and anyone with autistic kids - I'm not being thoughtless/ignorant...
it's just his apparent inability to take things in and need to repeat the same things over and over again, plus the complete absence of humour or proper social engagement people mentioned before.

something's not quite right...
could be Nam but they are usually very logical and work with facts................the social side yes but i have noticed a great lack of facts on his part............
its more likely to be an attention seeking disorder.............
Can I just say that Argos is mentioned in the chapter on Ancient Greece in my book I've been reading on the history of running. Maybe that's where Ricky got his fake vase from??
Actually, thinking about it, he MIGHT be a cult leader. Imagine all his vases project subliminal messages about alien-lizard gods into our heads. We could be being brainwashed just by looking at his snazzy pottery.
Before we know it we'll all be running around town centres on tip toes with collection boxes, making millions of quid for good old Ricky.
It's not going to stop me reading though, this is hilarious!
*lol* Check this out, forumite lardarse was a famous Olympian in a former life! Probably one of Ricky's key disciples. It's all coming together now...
"Ladas of Argos Ladas of Argos won the dolicho's at 460 BC. He was famous for his light running. It was said, that his feet did not leave tracks on the ground."

Have just come across this thread and haven't laughed so much in ages.
No wonder Pheidippides collapsed at the end of his first marathon attempt if this was how he ran.
I was thinking he could be autistic...

I really hope RW put this post in the mag.

I wonder if Nike could pick up the "new style" from Ricky you know
"Do you feel the need to be naked?
Have you looked at Ancient Greek Urns and thought I want to run like that?.
I have a small pointy Willy.
I have a large pointy beard.
I have a really large pointy spear.
Nike Olympus makes you run like a Greek God. "
Do Argos sell running gear now?

Rickster?
Tricky Dicky, you there?
He's probably out running like a mental. Wonder if a vase on the head would improve posture?
Here's someone demonstrating how its done.
Demo (can't get picture image to upload)
And another example here! (OMG - I'm turning into Ricky).
