I'm sitting here in the Lincolnshire (north of the north south divide), and I was wondering what everyone prefers: tea or coffee? Also, when you answer say whether you are in the north or south of the uk.
My theory is that more of the northerners will prefer tea, and the southerners will like coffee.
Bit of old fashioned predudice the, but there you have it.
So, I will start the ball rolling.
TEA

Scotland doesn't count! And we know you lot only drink Tennents
(I'm joking before any Scots come and batter me)
Because if I'm covered in batter you'll probably pop me in the fryer anyway.
Anyway - in answer to the question.
Two cups of tea and then a coffee. Edited to add "norf"

Would you sniff coffee with mine Slowfoot?

(north)
South = black tea.
Went to university "oop north" but still drank tea .
Never drink coffee - gives me headaches.
Home-made old fashioned milky coffee is ok, sometimes.
Impossible to order this type of coffee in Prat-a-Mange, Starbust or Cafe Nobo where they, very nosily, make strong coffee so tepid sugar doesn't even dissolve in it.
Note to staff in those coffee houses: a 'latte' is not the same as a milky coffee, I don't want a loyalty card, and no I don't want a f*cking muffin with it
And the worst thing is when you smell coffee on someone's breath after they've had one as bad as cigarettes.
Breakfast used to be pint of coffee 3 cigarettes
now its porridge and a pint of coffee
do I get extra points for drinking black tea and coffee?
always gets a shocked look from waitresses when you say black and sweet love .........like my men
No offence to Mr S
