Hi guys, I'm wanting a Garmin watch (thinking of going for the 305) and my Dad is going to the States on business next week. As this watch is so much cheaper over there I was thinking of asking him to get me one. Does anyone know if I'll have any problems using it over here? For instance, I'm also a keen geocacher so can I still change it to use the OS grid reference? I'm hoping it can completely replace my Garmin handheld which is what I'm running with a the moment.

My parents have only just moved back to the UK, I'm ordering it from Amazon.com tomorrow and it will be delivered to his friend's house in Charleston where he's heading back to on business. Hopefully it will be in stock and arrive on time! So much cheaper though $199 for the 305 and nearly the same in pounds here. And, apparently I already have a plug thingy as all my other gadgets were presents from the US!
Can't wait to try it all out, will be so much less bulky than putting my handheld in my pocket.

Currently £130 on Amazon UK so I reckon you'd be better off getting it here!
