Hi all,
Did a search but couldn't find anything, just want to know if anyone's done this and what it's like, would I be ok to run in normal trainers? Is it a proper killer or just proper good fun/effort. I'm up for a challenge and I guess footwear is my main concern!
Cheers

Some info here, JW. I'm doing the duathlon, and am planning to run in my innov8 190s, if that helps.
any thoughts on footwear for this one, thinking of doing the 15k?
Described as "whichever trail run you choose will mean hills, mud, sand and then some more hills"
Don't think proper XC shoes (spikes or studs) appropriate for sand and probably hard trail, but not sure (have just joined an AC and still haven't decided on spikes or studs for the grass-based XCs).
Probably okay in my Asics Trabucos which aren't any good in slippery mud - but just wondered what people's experiences were?
