Stu, I thought this thread was dead. Just caught the part about the lungs. Would gradual conditioning get them back? As you can see I don't get your drift, because I am assuming that the lungs ordeal, is connected with smoking.
yeah the smoking has caused the COPD and it is mostly non-reversable . It will not get worse if I stop smoking and I may be able to recondition them a bit but it is a big ask.
seems dead odd for me now that I aint busy with coasters(need to take it easy anyhow) and collectbles business is slack. Stuck for stuff to do but doc says I shouldn't do much Takes an hour to do the housework and that is it!!!
some on coasters seem a bit daft. They are discussing detail before nature of event is known-lol . I shouldn't laugh really.On first coasters nature of event and stretches were decided in 3 days.
I would love to meet ya, Tiggs. It has been positive for me these last 8 weeks. Running has improved in more ways that one. Weight loss, Mileage, Race Times. I thank the higher source. Pose running technique has been a tool. Weigh about 169 lbs, averaging 92 miles a week . Running a half marathon Saturday, actually am following a taper. Last race in Louisiana for this year.
Hope your move proceeds to your liking. Seems like life is always in a constant flux.Going with the flow, and being flexible is a must nowadays. Trying to make life less stressfull to. Never been a regimented person.
A good week for all hopefully this week, my cold is going, my allergic reaction fading, so hopefully a better week is in the offing for me!
However that all pales into insignificance to learn that a friend in Cornwall has just had an op for a brain tumour, keeping everything crossed for her that it will be benign.
lol- good points my old mate I am only smoking 1/2 of what I used to and it is going down. I am using a great method but will not reveal it. I do not panic for one these days. Yes you are right, my lungs do not need them and I need to tighten up as savings have ran out
setting my sights high actually, as planning to get from 15 stone to my youthful 12 stone by my 52nd in April Made a start with just fruit for brekkie and my run/walk I realy have gotta get fitter/healthier.
