This is probably Wiltshires fastest 10K road race and with 1500 entry forms having been distributed so far, we have seen a massive return and the entry limit of 300 has almost been reached.
A list of successful entrants for the event will be posted on the
Avon Valley Runners website to give notice of acceptance as there will be strictly no entries on the day.
I just hope that I am in the lucky 300!!!

Don't be too disheartened, as the entries filled up on Saturday, so assuming that your entry got there before then, you may be in. The Entries Secretary will be sending me a list of succesful applicants for publication on the AVR website later this week.
Well not really. Plenty of time to find a replacement.
The promised list of successful entrants has not yet materialised and that will make doing the results a challenge on Sunday.
I have a place in the Bromham Xmas pud race and unfortunately I can't get transport.
Is there anyone out there who is going from the Bath area who would be able to give me a lift? Happy to chip in for petrol?
My lift from Bath had his poor self hospitalised the other day, so I'm going to try and grab a replacement at the club christmas drinks tonight. If you haven't found anyone I'll see if there is an extra space for you. Expect a very late (possibly drunken) post tonight, or an early one tomorrow to confirm one way or the other.
For my part I was going well until 9K when I pulled a hamstring - I still managed to jog in under forty minutes before collapsing into a heap.
I have posted the race results on the Avon Valley Runners web site.
