managed to get 9.36 miles done in 01:08:52, so fairly happy, even more so that my knee decided to not play up so hopefully these knee strengthening exercises are working
A small midweek run that was planned. Thought I felt OK and the first mile was quite reasonable. By the time I got tro ViLane, I fel unwell Got to the second width restrictiion and I had to stop. Funnily enoug I felt looser after that. Ran on the left side of SwLane up until Holm Grove where I crossed and ran on the pavement. Started to slow along LLane and held up briefly in between the bollards.Rest of the run home was OK and I did speed up on the hme stretch which eased the ach in my calves.
Water Station: no, there is a Hundred Acres in Hamsphire.... quite small but if you do laps off the beaten tracks you're in nice ankle deep mud on a regular basis!

Ok just thought you may be local to me as I run to Hartfield (POOH COUNTRY) on my long runs.
A steady 5 miles for me today in 46 minutes. The rain was so heavy that I could hardly see! I was going to do 7 miles but can unexpectedley do the park run tomorrow so will make the miles up.
Up at 6 for a quick 6.4 mile route around the village, pulling on warm running clothes helped me get out the door but regretted it as soon as I opened the front door and the cold air hit warm skin. Cold air struggled through lungs for the first mile and blood through leg muscles. The sheep were a welcome familiar sound just over the two mile mark as was the sun moon lighting up the sky as I reached the brow of the hill. Reaching three miles brought the unwelcome inclusion of the second hill of the route but the church at the top has what feels to be the most comfortable bench at that time of the day before a downhill and starts the very welcome downhill to home.
6.4 mile midweek run last night, set out at a nice steady pace picked it up half way round finished in 49:24 felt good at the finish and thankfully no aches or pains this morning, 4 miles tonight followed by 9 on Sunday.
Glad you are feeling better Dutch. Well done Swittle!
Park run for me this morning 24.53. Really really wanted to get a PB today but I was 12 seconds away! Very annoying but I just dont think I could have put any more effort in today. Dont think that I can do it again until early february so will hopefully do it next time with fresher legs.

6.5 wonderful miles on the treadmill, felt strange for a while but still enjoyable.

Well done David L. You've certainly hit the ground running in 2011!
Me: 7M mudfest in Hundred Acre Woods. Felt zippier en brighter than before.
10K tempo in 54 minutes. Still feel slightly chesty but a bit faster than I have. Hopefully I will be 100% for the HM in a few weeks.

Grand outing Roland!
I just had a steady commute home; saw more cars than I could count... No deer, no llamas.
ah well, 8M clocked....
6.5 miles this afternoon, very pleased with the time. Most of all it felt good. No wildlife for me just big puddles.
