Garmin 310 xt problem

Anyone having a problem with the garmin 310xt? Where the time and pace that is shown on the watch at the time of uploading comes out different once uploaded to the garmin training center and Fetcheveryone. It it posting the elapsed time instead of just the running time. I ran 10 mile in 1:05:15. I stopped to talk to some of my mates and paused the watch. When I uploaded it it came out as if I had run it in 1:32:34.
Has anyone else come across this problem and if so can the change it back? It has only been doing this for the last 3 weeks.
