so does this mean that RW is an entry to the darkside?
I think I was lurking here first, but seem to have 2k more posts on fetch than here
Anyway, rather than re-opening that battle, morning all, hope all well! Nervous energy has definately kicked in now - cannot stop grinning this morning, or thinking about Sunday. Hence being on here whilst also on a call training various people across Europe on some not desperately exciting stuff!
SBH - what time do you think you might get back to Chandos - be good to see you but I am going to have to head out for my brother's 40th so guess I will miss you
Morning all!!! Ian, I usually wait with others till we're sure we've got noone else coming through although can't for the life of me remember what time we got there last year may well miss you will look for you anyway though
Hmmm - perhaps the pink fizz? We're going for a replay this year!!!!!!!! Lol
So - onto more important things I did this last year and couldn't resist it again this - I saw this in 2009 when I was building up to London (a one time only event I might add lol) and I loved it then, still love it now, and thought I'd share -
"When you stand on the Start Line, you join the club. When you stand at the Starting Line you earn your membership. Millions dream of being where you are. You are no longer a dreamer. You are a doer.
Thousands more started a training programme but never finished. They started with the same enthusiasm as (or more than) you. They started with more or less the same physical gifts or disadvantages as you did. They had no more and no less reason to be successful than you.
But somewhere along the way, they lost that enthusiasm. Somewhere on the road or on the track or treadmill, they decided that the rewards just weren't worth the effort. They decided that they could live without finding their limits, without challenging their expectations of themselves and without taking a hard look at their image of themselves.
You didn't. If you’re standing at the Start Line, you've not only accepted the challenge, but you've also beaten back the demons. You've conquered your imagination and self-imposed limitations. You've gone further, got stronger and become tougher than you ever imagined."
You'll all be fabulous on Sunday and I can't wait to see you all xxx
Wow! Thanks 'sister' very encouraging. I am currently nervous as hell. its my first every marathon and for some reason my anxiety is manifesting itself as tiredness all the time. I've done the training I know I am capable, just hope circumstances don't conspire against me on the day.
That's me signing off! Train first thing tomorrow morning. I will hopefully be at the expo for about 1-2 fingers crossed. I will leave some Jaffa cakes and jelly babies. Good luck everyone and I maybe be able to swing a couple of well deserved pints in chandos.

Lol at RW being entry to the 'Darkside' Is that both darksides then? Fetch and Tri.
Last year I did Tri's in pirate tops and a fetch hat. being a Pirate with Fetchie tendencies.
Any chance we can all play on the same floor at Chandos? My legs may be a bit knackered to run up and down the stairs like last year
Trev, don't worry, you'll be fine on the day. Its the mind playing tricks on you. By sunday you well be well rested and ready to go.
SBH I think it was after 4 before we left for Chando's last year, altho like you am a bit fuzzy. Shall I pick up some pick fizz out of M&S on the way
Sioux, you should be nice and easy to spot
For those of you signing off, best of luck. Can't wait to see you at Mile 17 or Chandos after. I will pop in again tomorrow for those still around
SBH - That's Good, I like that a lot.

I won't be around much any more so I hope you all have a great time on Sunday.
Many thanks once again to the Supporters without whom this would not even get off the ground.
And I have no idea why, but I am getting nervous for you all
And don't forget the real party starts in Chandos afterwards
