I was in John Lewis Cheadle yesterday and they had a big shelf full of cut price running shoes. I got a pair of Asics Kayanos 16 for £42. They also had Nike Vomero, Lunaswift, some addidas and Mizuno.
Some karrimor running kit in sports direct decent Technical T-shirts and Long sleeved tops at about £5- £8. Often wear a karrimor T-Shirt to run in and its fine.
I bought bags of chocolate drops in there for 10p this morning too! I know that's nuffink to do with running but I was WELL chuffed with them! Stick em in ice cream and the mini LB's think they've died and gone to heaven!
I got a pair of the shorts from Lidl. They are fine. I'm not sure about their compression capabilities as I have never worn Skins or any other similar product. I always wear undershorts and they are ok as a pair of those. Went back tonight and got another pair. There wasn't much stuff left. Overall i would say great value
My wife tracked this down, shes paranoid about discount codes so then found their facebook site that had discount codes of up to 50% off, however they had expired by the time we used them but we did manage a 20% off with CALUSA20 promo code
I use a website that lets you compare loads of different retailers shoes which helps me find a good deal. I want the new Mizuno Waves but they aren't on this website yet although many of the wave range is. Good selection of Asics, Brooks, Nike and Mizuno on the site. Check out http://www.sportsclothingstore.co.uk/compare_mens-running-shoes.html there are also womens and junior sections on there
TK Maxx in Manchester have women's Skins gear for £14-£24. They've got shorts, sleeveless tops and vests in mainly medium but a few large, small and extra small.
Nearly strangled and suffocated myself trying to get into the vest. You have been warned!

Primark (Don't laugh) have decent woollen gloves for only 25p.
The same gloves with a Nike Swoosh on them cost approx £9.
Think they are only in grey . Stock up if you want to, for next autumn.
Aldi has the bike stuff in this week peeps!
And there's LOADS of it!

If I tell you how much I paid for a pair of compression socks at the VLM expo you'll die for shock.
I could feed a family for a week on it!
I paid nearly ten times that!

Not the best start for that website above - I popped in Asics GT2160, and it came up with £71.99 as the best price,
A very very quick google finds it for £61.99, and in all sizes - some cheaper finds on google too but in limited sizes.
TK Maxx have Matt Roberts running tights in for £16.99 instead of £52!
Trouble is, I'd quite like Matt Roberts to be in my tights instead of me being in his.....
PWHOAR....

Have you stopped taking your medication ??
Come on Slowie....
Even you would.

There was a separate thread for this, but the Garmin 305 with HRM is currently £95 at Amazon.
EDIT: Now back up to £116.
TK Maxx have Saucony and NB shoes down from £60 ish to £30 - £31.
Sorry no idea of models.
