We have had a lot of interest in the Drovers Run in the new two wave format and later start date but poor entry response,Can you please note that entries will close on the 1st of July which is just over two weeks away.
would like to enter but slightly confused about the two waves, I don't run with a club and definitly not elite but would usually run 10k in under 50min- which do I enter?
Am going to enter this now as I'm no longer going away that weekend. Bringing my family along for support too.. Looking forward to it...hope weather stays fine.
RJ - probably the 1st wave, if you can run sub 50 on the road. See you there!
Have you got a postcode for the start of this? Can you still enter? What is the profile like? Is it similar to the Drovers in Castle which is steep and uphill?
Sorry for not replying to the messages on this forum earlier I didn't know that RW did this Forum. Entries for Drovers are still open at the moment but starting to fill quite quickly so if you fancy this challenging course sign up quick. You don't really need trail shoes for this run, there is over two miles of tarmac at the start then most of the rest is grass, gravel and muddy paths until you return to road in the last mile.So its about 50/50 with the trainers, trail are going to be better on the offroad for safety but most runners use normal trainers. There won't be a T shirt this year, last year it was funded by a third party who don't appear to be able to assist us this year.we are hoping to provide a nice slate coaster for all pre-registered runners but as there is a lead time may not have enough for last minute entrants.

Just entered ....hopefully there will be a few others from my club (PT) doing this.
Hoping my legs are ok for it, as I'm really looking forward to running this. V worthy cause.
Paul - did you do the Castle's this weekend? I'm sure I recognise your name from somewhere. I had stage 13, which I think was one of the flattest.
Is it too late to enter?
Where about is the start?
Thanks
Am I too late to enter the Drovers Run from Pontyclun? It would be in the 1st wave.
