There was a separate thread for this, but the Garmin 305 with HRM is currently £95 at Amazon.
EDIT: Now back up to £116.
They seem to only reduce the price when they have to match one of their marketplace sellers, I cancelled my order that evening, as another seller had it up for £89 + P&P, so bagged it for £93.
I'm going to get these Salomon trail shoes but not sure what size. I have a pair of Saucony's in 7.5, but not sure whether to try an 8? Someone suggested buying both and returning one, not sure if that's silly? Any advice would be hugely appreciated!
Vente Privee is one of these members only sites that does 2 day sales. Monday the sale starting is Skins. I'm not sure of the level of discount until Monday but if anyone wants to join i've done a referal thing (I think!) It normally is a good discount but you need to get on early as stuff sells out quickly. You have to preregister for the sale.
Bought a bunch of technical tees from Mountain Warehouse yesterday - £5.99 each, and they're as good as my Ron Hill stuff. Very light, comfortable, and no nipple chaffing.
adidas techical long sleeved tops in red, royal blue and green from jjb sale. About £10-£13. Half price I think.
asics black long sleeved ones for £8.99
I know jjb isn't everybodys idea of a running shop, but there are some bargains in its current summer sale.
What a shame that the JJB website is not anything as good and as detailed as the Sports Direct one is.
Neither of your bargain purchases pop up on their website, where as in contrast the Sports Direct seems to have everyhing that they have in store, and probably more.
Due to SD's superb website I have made two orders of over £50 in the last couple of months, for running tops, tights, vests etc, but as the JJB one doesn't seem to be a match for the store, and I do not have one locally, I guess I will have to pass on their offers.
LiverBird:Remember getting a pair of NB 878s for £10 the first time I was in the Keswick NB Shop. That was what I called a bargain. Think they were end of range and were normally about £60 Cracking shoes too.
