Its an amalgamation of smash and smack, both of which are things you can do to a PB!
So thats what those funny little metallic men ("they peel them with their metal knives") were up to - class A drugs secreted in their potatoes explains everything!
"He says he measured the revenue per visitor to the tightsplease.co.uk website and found that the revenue was twice as high after an error was corrected."
Er, yeah. Presumably fightsplease.co.uk was attracting the wrong kind of clientele.
"It means a quick, friendly kiss. (In other words, the kind of kiss that you might give to a child or friend, not the long, passionate kiss that's reserved for a lover.)" from here.
So that must mean you will touch/match your 10k PB, not beat it. Take away message if you want to smash your PB your better not use Powerade
Well spotted gang. Unfortunately, I'll be the one taking the blame for this. Currently trying to stop the spread of my new office nickname, Richard Keys.
The new banner is going up now. Thanks for the heads up.

No it doesn't mean a quick friendly kiss, see bottom answer in that thread link. It is the onomatopoetic word for the sound a kiss makes, it also means the sound made when eating something nice.
Like in a comic strip if where they use Pow, Bang, Wham they would use Smask when the hero kisses someone or when eating something they enjoy.
The word is the same in both Norwegian and Swedish.

...Or will I buy more Powerade because smasking sounds like fun?!
Ok, weirder, how did they get it right in the square ad to the side, but wrong in the banner ad? Surely the same copy?
Someone's going to get their bottom smasked.

I think "smask" is a combination of "smash" and"mask" which means you smash your PB but then don't tell anyone about it
As for what PRF says, this was on the BBC website yesterday:

Naaah they are borrowing it from Norwegian.

I'll bow down to your expertise, bit of an odd sound to make during a passionate kiss though, or eating
Still, it doesn't mean beating your PB.....
Unless they meant devouring your PB, in which case they could of saved all this confusion by saying "nom nom your 10k PB"
