Is any slow runners doing this race?
Did it a couple of years ago and DNF due to getting lost. Now no know more of this part of the South Downs as have walked and cycled part of Jog Shop Jog route.
Now the snake very well now and can push mountain bike up the North Face.

Hi Tracey..slow start is good for this one..loads go off too fast and start flagging in Death Valley!
I'd like to give it a bash but not got my milage up enough so probably won't.
Really not looking forward to this. Thou do want to finish it this time. Hope the sweepers are as lovely as last time.
Helly - unless it rains a lot between now and Sunday road shoes will be fine.
Tracey - Dips is right, start of slowly, walk the ups and just keep going.
Dips - go on do it you know you want to.
The forecast is for a warm but windy day; gusts to 37mph should make the run back along the cliff top path interesting.
Good luck and have fun - Raymond
p.s. I'll be starting at the back of field, sporting an orange and black OMM bum bag so please fel free to say hello.
Cheers Tracey and Raymond ( I recognise your avatar so presumably we have been on the same race thread at some point.)
My feet generally prefer not wearing trail shoes so it's looking good. Anyone else coming down on the train from London?
I finished last, but did the whole course.
Big thank you to Jog Shop for waiting for me to finish.
Special thanks to Paul the First Aid/Sweeper
