We have the approx the same number of individuals as teams at the mo. It's a beauty (although a tad hilly as the name implies )
Don't worry about the time. I'm the slowest person in the world and I'm very rarely last and we'll save you a nice shiny medal and Mars Bar even if you find youself at the slightly less than pointy end of the race
Hi Happy chap. I feel better knowing I am not alone in being the slowest person in the world. It looks like a have a date with the 3 hills then. I'm in
Hopefully individual entries won't fill up if I just turn up on Sunday. I'm waiting to see what effect tomorrow's weather might have before I take a decision on shoes.
Helly D - you'll be fine for individual entries We'll come back with a terrain report once we've had a good look on Saturday but for now I think road shoes will be fine.
Thanks Happychap - I've been known to overpack so I'll probably bring a couple of pairs and make a decision on the day. Hopefully I'll compensate for walking a lot of the Box Hill bit with a storming performance on the downhills After all there is a bottle of beer at the finish.
Hold on, if I'm doing all three legs shouldn't I be getting three bottles of wine?

Hello
Team and Individual entries now closed. Individual entries will re-open for on the day entries at 8.30am on Sunday morning. Team entries are now full.
HH. Trail shoes for the first leg, road shoes for the second two On overall balance I'd use road shoes I think.

Road shoes -
Leg 1 - The Steps up Boxhill could a bit slippy if wet but the descent should be hard as it is nice and open.
Leg 2 - Most the tracks over Norbury are still fine for road shoes (been over it on Monday night)
Leg 3 - All of the track up from Denbies is road shoe all year. Iffy bit through trees to water station but only a few hundred meters.
Unless it pours down Saturday then road shoes by far the best option.
